I had my first Programming lab assessment today. We were given an hour to set up classes, methods and a driver class. It was really, a little too much for an hour but thankfully my program worked alright
Had lunch with my sis at Oriental Spoon, a Korean Restaurant. Their spicy kim chi udon, kim chi dumplings and honey jujube tea were great, especially for a cold afternoon ^.^ I also had my hair trimmed for my cousin's wedding next week and this has cost me $32! What a rip-off! Well, at least it isn't as bad as getting a 'blow-wave' which costs $55 here. Back home, I'll be able to get a 'blow-wave' cut with just an additional RM 5.
Anyways, I was browsing through some news on the net today and I came across this headline:
Beijing Air Pollution Will Kill A Few Olympic Athletes; Alarmed US Training Expert Takes Precautions
Click on the headline above if you would like to read the article but I just want to state my opinion here...If Beijing's air pollution is that bad, it would already take away the lives of people living over there and let's put it this way...Athletes representing for the Olympic are going to stay in Beijing for at most a month. This wouldn't cause them to die! 'Expert' environmentalists, it's good to know that you're all taking precautions but please do not make such an exaggeration on such issue...
