An hour through my Networking lecture...
Lecturer A: An Internet
Protocol (IP) address is a numerical identification (logical address) that
is assigned to devices participating in a computer network utilizing the Internet Protocol
for communication between its nodes...
*Help Desk phone rings*
*Lecturer stops and stares at the phone in shock for 30 seconds*
Lecturer A: What happened?!
*moves towards the phone and picks it up*
Lecturer A: Hello?LMAO! Lecturers are funny people...
...And on to my Programming lecture.
Lecturer B: I'm going to show you how to debug your code using Eclipse...
*Clicks debug button*
A minute passed by and nothing happens...
*Clicks icon again*
Lecturer B: It should work...
Another minuted passed by...
Lecturer B: ...Let's just resume with the lecture. Yeah, my laptop's dodgy. Believe it or not, this laptop costs me five grand! Well, not much to worry about, it's the uni's money anyways.
Student C: And that means they're tax payers money...
Lecturer B: Well yeah, that's true. So I guess part of it is my own money
Student C: And ours!So there goes our tax money...
