Love is already in the air for Valentine's and weddings.

Today is my cousin's wedding in London.

Being held 20 hours flight from me, I still wish I could witness that happy occasion for myself. It is true that the cutting edge technology has ease minds of people by having the ability to record a footage of events without one being there. But what is technology compared to real life memories?

The feeling of getting involved, being included in the picture and the ability to feel the richness of emotions from the surrounding...These are things only worth experiencing in real life to form a chain of memories for the years to come.

But anyways, here's to Crystal & Kevin,

May today be only the beginning of a lifetime of dreams come true.

14 days to go before Chinese New Year...

...Have been doing my New Year's shopping and to be brutally honest, I am officially broke for now!

Yeah, I am really looking forward in celebrating this event with my family and friends but just thinking about my departure to Melbourne a week after the festival gets me down. Well again, I keep reminding myself that this year's a brand new year for me and that I should start afresh, placing aside past events. But then again, it's so hard to let go off the past when I'm not sure about what's going to happen in the future. Sigh...

But at least I know one thing for sure about this year and that is some of my friends from Trinity will be joining me at university. That definitely would keep me from worrying about being in a whole new enviroment and being alienated from others whom I've never met just yet.

My mum took me to Kimarie's yesterday to restyle my hair. She felt that I needed a body perm to volumize my look. So yeah, I'm with curls now instead of straight hair. I've been getting mix impressions about my new hairstyle, though. Some say that I look better and more bubbly with this hairstyle while others see me as being more matured and older! Well, as a typical girl, I don't quite like the sound of looking older...Lol! Guess I'll just have to get used to this new hairstyle and eventually I guess, everyone might accept it =)

Fact #1: Even though I often use MSN to keep up with my friends and family, I NEVER check my Hotmail inbox. So, if you're about to send me an email, make sure you send to my Gmail account

Fact #2: I may be a Chinese but I have a hard time keeping up with my mother tongue . My first language at home has always been English. It's really sad actually since there's so much I've missed out from my native language...

Fact #3: I count my calories...Guilty as charged! A normal girl is given at most 1500 calories to consume a day but I, on the other hand, limit myself to 1200 calories. Call that sick but no worries, I've gotten used to it.

Fact #4: I can't live without peanut butter and apricot jam sandwiches! These sort of sandwiches will appeal to me more if they are prepared on multi-grain bread...Yummy!

Fact #5: Despite me being 18 going on 19, I am still young at heart. I am afraid of watching gruesome films *Cringe*. Cartoons remain as one of my favourite genres. Oh, and I still play with my Tamagotchi, for your information. I'm also anticipating the international release of Tamagotchi V5 / Famitama this year

Approximately 7 more weeks before I leave KL for Melbourne again...

...Hate how it sounds like.

I have been living my holiday to the fullest by shopping, catching up on animes and classic films and just hanging-out with my friends; which now bring me to the thought of when will I begin preparing myself for my course this year. The answer to that isn't clear for now but I know that I've got to start somewhere before it's too late. Oh well, maybe one day, just one day, I'll be able to face reality and start hitting the books again because right now I'm just too busy updating my blog, hogging around Facebook and texting my friends

Speaking of which, have you ever received any strange phone calls or text messages from a stranger before? I did last night. Well, I was getting ready for bed when I realised that there were two missed calls on my phone. Thinking to myself that these calls may be made by one of my besties through someone else's phone (Well, that's what we always do when there's no credit left on our phones), I decided to text a message to him/her as follows:

Hey, you tried giving me a call just now. So, wassup?

After a minute or so, I received a rather strange reply from a guy and no, he isn't one of my besties. His message was as follows:

Come suck me, I'm horny!

Obviously, I ignored that message and had blocked his number from my phone but guys out there, here's a little something for all of you...Don't ever try hooking up girls through your cellphones because:

1. You might get reported for sexual harrassment. Not all girls, well, most girls, actually, feel uncomfortable when receiving this sort of message on their cellphones and reporting you as being a harrass could land you to jail.

2. Your text message might be sent to the wrong carrier. You might want to bug a girl you like by texting her and for all you know, it may end up in someone else's carrier, worst case scenario, someone of legal authority which could lead you to serious trouble.

3. Your number is traceable. Don't be such a dumbass and think that your number is not traceable. Your number can be traced from the telco you register and this includes your home address, identity, etc.

So, guys, be smart...Don't think you could run away with this act even though it might just be a prank! As for the guy who texted me, he is lucky enough that I did not pursue further investigation on him.
